A 20 foot roll of Reliable Fuse 3.0mm safety fuse. This dark green fuse burns slowly, at about 25 to 30 seconds per foot, so it gives you time. Add a length to a short fuse and you can light it and walk well clear before it goes.
One foot buys you roughly 25 to 30 seconds, so plan the length around the delay you want. Cut what you need with a sharp blade and keep the rest sealed in its bag, away from heat and damp. Use it outdoors only and never hold a lit fuse in your hand.
