The most common question we hear is some version of "What can I get for this much?" So we built four example shows at $100, $250, $500 and $1,000, using real items and current prices from our list. Each one follows the same shape we recommend in our backyard show guide: an opener on the ground, a middle that mixes cakes and candles, and a finale saved for last. Use them as a starting point. Swap items, add more of what you like, or bring the list to the store and ask us to help you adjust it.
How we built these shows
Every item below is on our current price list. We left out call for price items, so you know what each show costs up front. The subtotal for each show is at or under its budget before tax. Sales tax of 8.25% is collected at pickup, so plan for that on top of the subtotal.
Prices are from our current list and may change. If an item is out of stock when you come in, we can suggest a close swap at a similar price. We also match competitor prices, so bring a current ad if you have one.
These shows assume you are somewhere fireworks are legal. Most Texas cities ban fireworks inside city limits, and counties can add limits during drought. Check your city and county rules for the exact spot before you buy.

How to make a package your own
Think about your space first. The bigger packages lean on 500 gram cakes and artillery shells, which need more room. If your site is small, trade a big cake or a shell kit for extra fountains, sparklers and 200 gram cakes.
Think about your crowd next. A group with lots of young kids may enjoy a longer opener with more fountains and novelties. A crowd that stays up late for the finale will notice a stronger ending, so put more of the budget into the last two or three cakes.
Keep the order simple. Write it on a card, lay items out in that order in daylight, and keep the finale set apart so it does not get lit early.
Show night basics
Pick one sober adult to light, with a second person on water. Have a hose turned on or full buckets ready. Set cakes and fountains on a flat, hard surface, light one item at a time, and move away right away. Never relight a dud. Wait, then soak it. Soak everything when the show is over before it goes in the trash. Our fireworks safety guide has a full checklist.
