The 4th of July is the biggest fireworks season of the year in Texas. Like New Year's, it is set by state law, so it runs statewide on the dates above and ends at midnight on the 4th. No county vote is needed.
Independence Day marks July 4, 1776, when the Continental Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence. Fireworks have been part of the celebration from the start. Today that means backyard shows, family cookouts, and a lot of red, white and blue lighting up North Texas skies.
This is our busiest stretch, so it pays to plan ahead. You can reserve online before the season opens and pick up on or after opening day. You pay in the store at pickup. There is no shipping, only local pickup at our store on the I-30 frontage road at Exit 83 in Caddo Mills.
Hours for the season are posted above and on our Visit page. Remember that most cities ban fireworks inside city limits. Check your city and county rules before you light anything.
Reloadable artillery shells are a 4th of July favorite, including our own Patriot Pack in red, white and blue. 500 gram cakes give you a big show with one fuse. Stack a few 200 gram cakes for a longer show on a smaller budget. Fountains and sparklers work well while it is still getting dark. Roman candles, firecrackers and novelties round things out. Assortment packs are a simple way to get a little of everything. Our staff can help you put together a show and finish it with something big.

The 4th of July is a statewide season under Texas Occupations Code 2154.202(g), so no county approval is needed. A drought finding can still lead Hunt County to restrict some fireworks, and city bans always apply.
This isn't legal advice. Check your city and county rules. Never use fireworks where they are banned, and follow any county burn ban.
