Roman Candles

A Roman candle is a single tube that shoots a series of balls of color into the air, one after another. The count of balls is usually printed on the label and often in the name. They are one of the oldest and simplest aerial fireworks, and they give a show a quick, classic look for a small price.

The safe way to use a Roman candle is to treat it like any other aerial item. Do not hold it in your hand. Push it firmly into soft ground or secure it upright in a bucket of sand or a sturdy holder so it points straight up, away from people, houses and trees. Light it and step back. Never point a Roman candle at anyone. The CPSC warns against pointing or throwing fireworks at people, and that is the most common way Roman candles cause injuries.

Roman candles work well in the middle of a show, set out in a row and lit one after another. They are a budget-friendly way to add more aerial color between cakes.

Check your city and county rules before you buy, since most cities ban fireworks inside city limits. Reserve online and pay at pickup at our store, 5159 I-30 in Caddo Mills (Exit 83). No shipping, local pickup only.
