Novelty Fireworks

Novelties are the small, fun items that fill out a celebration. In our store that includes snaps, snakes, ground spinners and blooms, parachute items, and small ground pieces with playful names. Many cost just a few dollars, which makes them an easy add-on to any order.

Most novelties stay on or near the ground and are good for the early part of an evening, before it is fully dark, or for the moments while adults set up bigger items. Parachute items send up a small parachute that drifts back down, and kids love chasing them, but only after an adult says it is safe and the item is fully spent.

Small does not mean harmless. The CPSC and the Texas Department of Insurance advise that young children should not handle fireworks, and that an adult should supervise every lighting. Light novelties on a flat, hard surface away from dry grass. Keep a bucket of water nearby, soak used items before you throw them away, and never relight one that did not work.
